If you appreciate having fun and learning about new cultures, this is the experience for you. I originally booked this experience because I'm a huge anime fan but what I got out of this was a lifetime of memories. The staff, from the transportation to the teachers and participants, everyone is so kind and engaging and they genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time and experience. I highly recommend!
My mother (69yo), teenage relatives (13 and 17yo) and I (27yo) did a day trip to Kimino High School in August of 2024 and we all had a blast! If you love anime and/or nostalgia, I would highly recommend this experience if you're visiting Japan.
The organizers arrange a free shuttle service that transports you to/from Shinjuku station and the school in Chiba. I highly recommend using it because the school is located far in the countryside.
