刀の歴史などの座学を含めとても楽しかったです。小中学生の子どもに夏休みの体験と思って連れていきましたが丁寧に見ていただき楽しく学習できました。難しいと思っていたまだ早いかと思っていた刀作りもたくさん補助していただき仕上げまでしていただけたので子どもたちも大喜びでした。ひと夏の体験としてとても価値あるものになりました。刀匠の方や一緒に受講した方に優しくしていただけてありがたかったです。

刀鍛冶のご主人はとても気さくな方で座学から制作まで懇切丁寧に教えてもらえます。
刀に対しての思い、熱意のある素晴らしい方です。

It was an incredible experience. It was one of m’y husband’s dreams and it really matched his expectations.
As an observer, it was also great to watch and to learn so much. Sensei Masahiro is a great swordsmith, but also a great teacher and easy to talk to.

Our interpret Jean did a great job. He is really good to switch from one language to another and we felt that he was used to work with sensei Masahiro. It was easier for the explanations.

We highly recommend this activity which was fantastic

The class was amazing. The sensei and interpreter were so wonderful. We actually made most of the knife ourselves. We heated and hammered the steel. Filed the blank and actually put the blank back in the forge and quench in oil. Would recommend participates be able to swing a large hammer and be okay with working with a belt sander.

先生の解説が非常に詳しく面白かったです。
日本刀がどのように出来上がるかを体験することで、今後日本刀を鑑賞するときもっと楽しむことが出来ると思いました。
連れが用事が出来てしまい急がないと間に合わない状況になってしまったのですが、急いで刀を仕上げて下さり、何から何までお世話になりました。
ありがとうございました！今度は異なる刃文の小刀も作ってみたいです。
